Love blue eyeshadow but not game enough to wear it on its own? Try a subtle hint of blue that will look edgy yet understated.

  1. Prime your eyes

Just like the rest of your makeup, your eye makeup should start with a primer. Make sure you apply it under your lower lid. It makes application easier and your product will last longer. If you don’t have a primer just use a dab of your concealer or foundation.

  2. Choose your neutral colour

Apply a neural colour to your entire upper lid blending out the edges. We love Hazelnut Velvet Eyeshadow as it is a warm brown that suits most skin tones.

Hint: Use your fingertips to get maximum colour payoff. Plus it makes it super easy to apply.

  3. Add a touch of blue

Take your pinky finger and apply Sky Velvet Eyeshadow in a small circular motion on the outer corner of your lower lash line. You could also try taking a small eyeshadow brush, spraying with fixing spray and applying the shadow wet to achieve a more intense pop of colour.

  4. Dewy cheeks

Add a flush of colour to your lips and cheeks - we love Dew Tint in Grapefruit as it’s buildable and blendable so you can keep the colour subtle and let your eyes be the focus.

  5. Add mascara

Add a coat of your favourite mascara to finish the look.

And there you have it. A barely-there blue eyeshadow that’s both easy and edgy.
